Shutting the hanger doors for now

Well it’s been a year, and I’m sure it won’t surprise many of you, but yes, it’s time to shut the doors to the Uchikudake hanger. I started this website project with a lot of ideas but ultimately it just hasn’t worked well with the way that I like to create content in practice. It’s a shame, but I’m very used to the idea of prototypes not always taking flight (Shmup_Lyf wasn’t the first zine idea I had, it took a while to figure out what would actually work).

Also, it’s not financially viable for me at this time to keep the site going (^_^*).

Thanks to the people who have been checking in for new content and sorry for not rewarding that effort. I’m hoping that without the ongoing feeling of ‘I should be putting something on the website’ hanging over my head (like an open bomb bay) I’ll be more free to invest that energy better in other projects - like getting back into making the zine.

In the meantime I think I’m going to shift my focus back to micro blogging on IG, so please follow me there and please keep your radio tuned for future zine releases.

Thanks again to anyone who has been dropping by - I really appreciate your support - and until next flight, keep the engines primed and the scoreboard on the radar.
